What is Functional Training?


Our functional training prepares the body for the movement of everyday activities and job duties by using a holistic approach. A traditional training program targets individual muscle groups, while a functional program integrates the neuro-muscular systems of the entire body. It accomplishes this by mirroring the desired activity while focusing on the details of muscle activation and sequencing through specialized exercises. This not only increases the body’s strength, stability, and mobility, but also develops the intangible motor functions such as balance and muscle memory.


Each training program is tailored to match the specific activity in which an individual is looking to increase performance in. Results are maximized by improving the body’s ability to perform the task in the most efficient way possible.
