CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

This is a light touch manual therapy that helps to release restrictions within the craniosacral system to relieve pain and dysfunction and restore overall health and performance. The craniosacral system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord.

The brain and spinal cord make up the central nervous system and have more influence over the body than any other system. Your craniosacral system encompasses these vital organs, provides protection and nourishment, and helps to restore damage. When the system is interrupted, it can cause irregularities and restrictions to the overall flow of cerebrospinal fluid and health of the membranes which can lead to unwanted symptoms.

Craniosacral therapy alleviates restrictions and helps to restore overall health by targeting tension points within the craniosacral system.

How is it Performed?

This is performed through non-invasive manual therapy that helps to reduce and alleviate symptoms by applying light-touch to targeted tension points. Each patient is given a treatment path that is personally selected to help treat their specific condition.
