My strong interest in nutrition evolved through a direct link to my serious investment in athletics from a young age. Playing for a national level travel volleyball team throughout high school and for the University of Rochester, I directly experienced the correlation between healthy eating and athletic performance. After graduating from the University of Rochester in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, I pursued my master’s degree in nutrition from Montclair State University and subsequently completed my dietetic internship at the University of New Hampshire. I am now a registered dietitian with a mission to help others create an active and nourished lifestyle through an evidence-based, individualized, whole-foods approach to medical nutrition therapy.
